If you missed Tony Beachler last week you missed a great meeting! He was “all about networking” and here were the big takeaways: Communication is Key, you never know who your sitting next to so always be at your best, and follow this acronym- Savvy Original Confident Interesting Amazing Lively Meaning Electric Dynamic Incredible Action. When it comes to an interview or networking, professional or even personal relationships always stride to be the best version of you. Lastly always dress professional- what you wear is a motivational mindset. When you dress nice you feel nice, when you dress professional you feel professional. Piggybacking off of professional dress here are some tips and tricks when dressing for the office. Guys, always having a nice suit on or the perfect pants, dress shirt, tie and shoe combination is a must. For girls we have a little more free range but this can also propose a challenge and we will always struggle drawing that line between professional dress and unprofessional dress. Tony mentioned how important it is that guys make sure there colors match in all aspects of there outfit, female clothing staples matter just as much. For example, blazers are a must but wearing them with a graphic tee underneath, not so much.
