I stumbled across an online article on Business Insider that really aligned with my personal beliefs. Liz Wessel is a 25 year-old CEO of WayUp, a site used by many college students to find jobs at places like Microsoft, Uber, and Google. The article states, "Liz attributes much of her success to following a certain piece of advice: Say "yes."
Say 'yes' to new opportunities, projects, etc. and be willing to risk what others are not doing. This will enable you to stay polished and gain more experience which will ultimately provide more opportunities.
