So this article is about 2 former Silicon Valley software engineers creating a yarn company known as Jimmy Beans that is an online in Reno, Nevada. They decided to come up with an experiment by selling customer subscriptions that have been successful. The idea of having subscriptions for their customers started 2 years ago when Jimmy Beans started selling yarn samples online. They decided to launch the subscriptions on October 1st that was made in mid August and it had a total of 164 subscriptions. Laura Zander then bought a Facebook ad that had 1,001 new customers. They took it down a few times. As of today, the company now has 5,400 customer for their business. Sales have increased from 15% to 20%. Now that their business is up and running, they are predicting that the sales for the business will double in the next couple of years.
